Back with a video!

After we published our edition on Salpingoscopy and the classification of tubal health a few weeks back, a lot of you wrote back to us with thoughts and questions. One of the most common questions was “But how do I do it?” Today’s edition will try and answer just that.

If you’re reading this in your email box, you might have to click on the video and go to the website to watch it. But it’s worth the effort.

This video tries to answer a simple question

  1. How do I perform a salpingoscopy?

  2. And what am I likely to see when l look inside?

We’ve kept the steps in the video and the findings as simple as possible. This means we might leave out some very peculiar specifics that you might encounter during the procedure.

At such occasions, it helps to go back to the first principles of surgery. Fundamentals of anatomy, landmarks, and tissue textures. These always come in handy, especially upon incidental discovery of conditions like endometriosis.

With that, we want to move on to something we are very excited to share!

Introducing M Studio

Next to actually doing it yourself, videos are the GREATEST way to learn. You get to see not just the steps written down but also other bits like ergonomics, assistant placements, probe manuvering, and much more that is simply impossible to communicate when writing down.

This also holds true for patients. Mayflower has been able to heavily impact patient compliance, and satisfaction with surgery even in complicated cases by giving them a wholistic, comprehensive, and accessible view of the surgery that was just performed on them.

For the first time, we are making this video editing service available to all our Endometriosis Weekly readers.

You can send in a request to rajendra@mayflowerhospital.com and our team will work their magic to take your 1+ hour surgery video and crunch it down to the most relevant 10-15 minutes.

The service is priced by the length of the video you share and we’ve made sure we price it such that our editing costs less than it saves

As always, we look forward to hearing from you!
